Thought of why I am this way
Why am I who I am?
Why is my life such a damn?
I was sickened by what I do
And how I love people like you
How I spill my heart to this pen
And the ink is my blood
Write and reread then-
I hate myself because I cry
Scream inside wishing I’d die
I’ve written useless rhymes
I’ve failed countless times
Why is he by my side?
Missing the fact that I could have very well lied
About how I’m drowned with happiness
When I’m actually choked with loneliness
It’s not because he doesn’t fill my needs
It’s because I have pointless pleas
